Coopers Plains is an outer suburb in the City of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia located 11 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane Central Business District.
The suburb remained rural until the 1940’s when the United States Army installed barracks adjacent to the railway station, which became the Australian Army’s Damour Barracks after the war. The suburb is home to Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital and it is also very close to Griffith University’s Nathan Campus.
The suburbs in Brisbane are usually surrounded by lush greenery with different kinds of trees, and drainage blockages can be a common problem at home. One of the chief causes of drainage blockage is tree roots. They can penetrate into a pipe through cracks which are caused by movement in the ground, fault in material used, improper installation, or mainly because of huge tree roots that can severely damage even the sturdiest of pipes. In older suburbs, especially those with houses built before the 1980’s, usually have earthenware pipes that easily break allowing tree roots to enter and causing severe drainage blockage.
Blockages in pipes can be very unpleasant especially at home because it prevents wastewater from leaving your household or property. If you’re having some trouble in flushing your toilet or if you see that water drains away slowly, this could be a sign of blockage in your pipelines.
These blocked drains need not be a problem in Coopers Plains. Just call Drain Cleaning Brisbane at 07 3522 2925, and you’ll be assured of immediate assistance and excellent services.
