Heathwood is an outer suburb of the City of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia located 21 kilometres south ofthe Brisbane Central Business District. It was declared a suburb in 1975 and was named after an early settler in the area. Its western boundary is marked by Oxley Creek, with Forest Lake Avenue to the north, Johnson Road to the south, and Logan Motorway passing through the suburb from east to west. The population according to the 2011 Australian Census is 1, 820.
