Manly is a beach, boating and residential suburb on Waterloo Bay and is located 15 kilometers east of Brisbane CBD. The name was believed to have been derived from Manly in Sydney. Surrounding the suburb are Wynnum at the north side, Lota to the South and Manly West situated on the left side of the region. Moreton Bay on the other hand lies on the east side. The suburbs census population administered by the 2011 Australian Census was at 3,702.
